02 Designing visitor experiences
Tourism is a tough market, with increasing competition and constantly changing demands making it harder than ever to exceed visitor’s expectations. Taking a design-led approach can help.
In this workshop you will:
- Get an overview of experience design and how it applies to the tourism industry.
- Identify your target market and assess how well you understand them.
- Evaluate your current experience and explore ways to tailor for your target market.
- Develop a plan to test and make changes.
03 Citizen Experience for Local Government
A practical exploration of how citizens can be brought into the design and delivery of local government services and experiences (no, not through surveys).
In this workshop you will:
- Get an overview of human-centred design and its application in local government.
- Deep dive into one of your current challenges and explore a range of possible ways you could involve citizens.
- Try out some of those methods.
- Assess which is most appropriate and develop a plan to implement.
Alexandra can easily adapt any of these programs to your industry or circumstances.
Half day workshop cost is $2,500 plus GST. This is for up to 6 participants and includes all workshop materials. Venue hire and catering is not included. Reimbursement may be required for travel further than 100km from Melbourne.
